International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) Australia's largest and most influential global mining event was held in Sydney in November 2022 to showcase the mining and technology industry. This event brought together thought leaders from across the country and around the world collaborating on the charge towards the green energy transition. Almost 8000 delegates were at the International Convention Centre over three days.

Appointed as First Nations Partner in 2022, IWIMRA brought a delegation of eighteen women from across Australia to network with 7,500 business people from around the world to highlight the importance of meaningful engagement with practical solutions and simple conversations. 

IMARC provided a platform for women who had never before had a voice on the international stage to outline topics important to the First Nations communities.

More importantly the event gave IWIMRA women the opportunity have a seat at the table to contribute to global thought leadership and ensuring that we are also informing the industry and collaborating on a better future.

In 2023 we are taking a smaller delegation of ten women to the conference to enable them to take advantage of the opportunities that are being presented, such as being invited to speak on panels, meet with businesses that are on the journey to better understand how an Indigenous Engagement Strategy can enhance their reputation in the community and engage with companies who are exhibiting at the event.

IMARC Dinner

We are hosting a Welcome Dinner during the Conference that will see Australian business leaders and representatives from many international delegations collaborate on effective ways to bring First Nations peoples from all countries to the fore.

Your support will ensure that the delegates are able to join us in Sydney for the event, are fully briefed to present as keynotes and panellists , are informed about the event itself and how they showcase themselves, their business or employers and their community.
